That’s why we are proud to support South Milwaukee Community Meals, where local residents gather each month for fellowship and free dinner, prepared and served by local businesses and organizations.
Typically the meals are held at First Congregational United Church of Christ in South Milwaukee … but we are proud to host ours at the Bucyrus Club!
We hosted our first on January 16, welcoming more than 140 guests for a dinner of pork roast stew, chicken a la king, homemade mashed potatoes, wild rice, green beans, garden salad, fresh fruit, bakery roll and butter, as well drinks and desserts (our homemade apple pie).
To everyone who joined us, thank you! It was our pleasure serving you – and we look forward to serving you again on July 17 at the Bucyrus Club. Look for a summer picnic theme with burgers, brats, hot dogs and more.
Community Meals are regularly held on the third Thursday of each month at First Congregational United Church, 1111 N. Chicago Ave. in South Milwaukee. The next one is scheduled for Thursday, March 20, at the church.
